HM Insurance Group (HM) staff manages a full range of COBRA services starting with the initial notification when an individual first becomes covered under the plan. When a qualifying event occurs, HM will send out a notification and begin working with continuants on all COBRA issues, including the acceptance of elections, notification and collecting premiums. In addition, as a full-service organization, HM archives employer documentation to ensure compliance with COBRA law.
HM has the experience and efficient system capabilities to oversee creation and distribution of initial letters, qualifying event notification letters, carrier enrollment notices and premium remittance in a professional, timely manner.
HM ensures that eligible COBRA continuants receive:
