HM Insurance Group Names Domenic Palmieri Chief Financial Officer

PITTSBURGH — (Nov. 13, 2007) — HM Insurance Group recently announced that Domenic Palmieri has been promoted to serve as the company’s new chief financial officer. Palmieri will be responsible for corporate financial stability and growth as HM works to provide health risk solutions for its clients.

Palmieri comes to this position after serving more than four years as HM’s corporate controller, during which time he established a foundation for providing financial and strategic leadership to HM. In the six years prior to that, he served HM as an actuarial support specialist and manager of reserves and reinsurance, positions that allowed him to build a framework for understanding how HM will grow as a leader in the employee benefits market.

“In each of Dom’s roles at HM, he gained significant experience and knowledge about our financial approach to the market,” said Daniel J. Lebish, HM Insurance Group president and chief executive officer. “Having worked intimately with our financial structure in a variety of capacities, Dom will be a great asset to the senior management team in working to execute the financial elements of the company’s strategic plan.”

Palmieri has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
